La serie L7900 de reguladores negativos de tres terminales está disponible en TO-220. Estos reguladores pueden proporcionar regulación en tarjeta, eliminando la distribución, problemas asociados con la regulación de un solo punto; además, tener la misma opción de voltaje que la serie estándar positiva L7800, son especialmente adecuado para fuentes de alimentación divididas.
